It is  in the centre of the town and it's very large.The building has two floors. There are  nursery school (3/6) infant school (6-10)and junior school (10-13) It's compulsory. We attend junior school or secondary  school (I). We study English-French-Italian-Math- Science-Geography-History-P.E.-Art tecnology- Religion and Music.We go to school from Monday to Friday. On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday  we stay at school in the afternoon too! We have lunch at school. There are three classes for each section. Outside there is a large garden. There is an art laboratory and a computer laboratory. Each class has an interactive whiteboard and we often use it. 


We really like our school!

There was Latin and Polish taught. In 1919 Betygala parish council decided to restore it as primary school. Later, in 1987 resolution of the Council of Ministers granted to the school of the poet Maironis name and set up Maironis museum. From 2015 we continue as Betygala Maironis gymnasium.
Our school is quite small but very cosy. We have around 200 pupils and 30 teachers. Our pupils participate in various projects and competitions, especially they like competitions connected to sport, such as basketball or volleyball. 
Outside we have a spacious yard and a garden where kids can spend their free time and to do sport. What is more, there is a river close to our school. Pertini” is situated in a little town called Orta Nova(18,500 inhabitants), in the province of Foggia (Apulia region). It is a school for students aged 11-14. The building consists of two floors and it has about 24 classrooms which are wide and light. Nearby there is a school complex with 9 classrooms.
The school has a library, a science laboratory and an excellent gymnasium for sports activities. The school band is well-known in the area. There are about 650 children (boys and girls) and a staff of over 70 people. The headmaster is an experienced and a very efficient person. Apart from studying the subjects (Italian-English-French-Maths-Science-Geography-History-P.E.-Art-Technology-Religion and Music), a lot of emphasis is given to acquire good values of life. The school is open from Monday to Saturday.
