I love it too.

In my opinion, travelling is the best way of relaxation and recreation, but the only snag is that I can’t afford to travel as much as I would like to.

However, I try to break away from it all at least once a year, mostly in summer. It is good  to get away from the  hustle and bustle of everyday life and have a change of place. When I am somewhere else on holiday, I don’t need to do the household chores and I can devote all my time to my family/friends/myself.

Besides, I can broaden my mind and learn about the people, their customs  and cultures by visiting famous places. And last but not least,

I can brush up/polish/improve my language knowledge/I can pick up another foreign language and make friends.    

Jake: Lisa, you plan too much. Your schedule has every hour planned. Even bathroom breaks!

Lisa: And you plan nothing! Last time, you forgot to book a hotel!

Jake: It was an adventure! We slept on the beach under the stars.

Lisa: We got chased by a crab.

Jake: Okay, small problem. But it was fun! You wake up at 6 AM on vacation. Who does that?

Lisa: People who want to see things! Not people who sleep until lunch and eat ice cream five times a day.

Jake: That’s called enjoying life.

Lisa: That’s called being lazy.

Jake: I call it "relaxing." You treat travel like school!

Lisa: And who always asks me where to go and what to do?

Jake: …Me. But who makes the trip more fun by finding strange places?

Lisa: You… Okay, fine. Maybe we need both plans and surprises.

Jake: Yes! Now, let’s start with a surprise. I bought gelato!

Lisa: You brought gelato to the airport?!

Jake: Vacation starts now!
