In the very first week of my usrah session, we introduce ourselves with our name. Due to lot of usrah members in our group, its really hard to memorize all of them in one go. But nevermind, we still introduce ourselves.

As for the usrah content, we all discuss about adab in seeking knowledge and Quran as our guidance book. Our Usrah Assistant told that people nowadays are undoubtedly lacks of practising good manner towards knowledge. To overcome this, one of solution we can practise is to revise our study roughly before class start. This to make sure we are ready to consume what will we get on the lecture session. Also for the Quran part, we can tell that its hard for us today to istiqamah in reading Quran everyday. But he comes with a solution which is we have to set new mindset. For example, if we are truly busy on our daily commitment, we still manage to consume some food to keep us energetic right? That's because we set in our mind that consuming food is a priority. So why not we set the same on our Quran recitation?

This week we were explained about hadith Jibril. There's a lot of main points can be obtained from the hadith.

Briefly, the hadith share us about a story when Prophet Muhammad SAW sat with His companion, Jibril came to them. Then, Jibril ask our Prophet some question about Islam, Iman, Ihsan and about afterlife.

For Islam, He told about our 5 pillars in Islam containing Kalimah Syahadah, Salah, Fasting, Zakah and also Hajj. For Iman, He explain about 6 pillars in Iman which including believe to Allah, His Angels, His Kitab, His Messengers, Last Day and about Qadha' and Qadar.

From this we can say that Hadith Jibril is not just a mere Hadith. This actually one Hadith that share main point to become a true muslim and slave of Allah SWT

On 3rd weeks, we were explained by our Usrah Assistant first 3 pillars in Iman which is believe in Allah, His Angels and His Kitab.

Belief in Allah tells us about Tawhid, which means Oneness of Allah. We as Muslim are forbidden from associating Him to other creature, idol, evil, statue, fire and sun for instance. To follow this, 5 pillars of Islam is a perfect guideline to make sure we are always on track. This is because all of these 5 are told by Allah SWT Himself towards us, His creations.

While, believe in His Angels or as known as Malaikah (in Arabic terms) is a belief that we acknowledge all of His Angels are under commandment of Allah SWT. They also already divided task to them for example Jibril is told to deliver Wahyu to our Prophet SAW and Izrael are tasked to take humans' life by Allah will.

Moving on, belief in His Kitab is also topic that have been discussed. As for us, the followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW, Al-Quran is our guidance. We are adviced to understand the Quran wholeheartedly and practice them in our life. Then our life can be guaranteed a success by our God.

This week is about the other 3 pillars in Islam.

First is believe in His Messengers. From this topic we learn about Prophet good deed. We are encouraged to follow His behaviour as He is the best role model sent to us.

Next is believe in The Last Day. After some period time, we will be reawaken to The Day of Judgement where humans are Judge by Allah by his deeds on his previous life. This will decide them to enter Heaven or Hell. Those who are filled with lots of good deed will be entered to Heaven while otherwise will be thrown in Hell. Nauzubillahi min zalik.

Last one is believe on Qadha and Qadar. This is about our life already set by Allah on every terms. So we as human need to accept Allah SWT's plans. I would love to share our Usrah Assistant quote relating to this topic which is, "do not be blamed by past and do not overthink about the future. If you guys do so thats mean you guys are not believe enough with Qadha and Qadar set by Allah".

To make it easier to understand, the situation of someone worship Allah as he see Allah SWT watching him. But if someone cannot reach this stage they can also consuder while they are worshiping Allah, He is always watching. In facts, this is a real matter that happen.

As for eschatology means life afterlife. We were told about adab and akhlaq. These two are different because akhlaq mean philosophy while adab is the practise of akhlaq. Someone's behaviour are based on their adab towards all of creature including humans, animals and also plants.

There are lots of adab which is adab towards parents, friends and other. Adab towards parent is a good behaviour we have to practice when we intteract with them. This is because they are two important person for us. Without them we may be not exist today. They also take care of our life. As for adab towards friends, we have to be kind to them because this is told in the Quran that doing good to each other and also other person are highly recommended.

On the first week of Usrah 2, my usrah members and I got an explanation and briefing on hikmah, niyyah, amal and ehsan.

The first one is hikmah which is the intellect, wisdom or ability to think positive thing on every fate Allah set upon us. This is because Allah is the best ruler to his creation and He know what is the best for us and what we can handle even though we did not like it, the fate.

Second one is about niyyah. Every single thing we do must have an intention which is same thing to niyyah. This is because niyyah is like our to do list and if we keep making good niyyah, Insya Allah we can do the good thing as we planned. But we need to make it with pore intention and sincerity to make it genuine and have lot of qualities while doing the work.

Third one is about amal which is to apply the right amal we need to worship Allah with quality and do good deeds because it its confirm that those is good amal for us. Another amal is salah, zakat, fasting, hajj and act of kindness.

Last for that day we were explained about ehsan. Ehsan means good deeds or characteristic that we must have in ourselves. This good thing will lead us to good and happy life as Allah ask us to be good person toward ourselves and also others

On this week, we learn about himah that we automaticly can gain by performing ibadah.

First ibadah is prayer, those hikmah we can gain by perform prayer because of prayer contains 3 attributes which is ikhlas, fear of Allah and remembrance of Allah. Second is fasting, which is develop our taqwa towards Allah, empathy and dicipline in ourselves. Next is zakah which is charity. From this we can build a generousity attribute in ouselves and can reduce our gredinees since we give our money to help other people. Last one is Hajj. Hajj diciplines us, as a Muslim, to follow Allah SWT's commandments as we need to obey our God. So it can develop a good person since we can follow Allah's command and be a good muslim and also good person in life.

So by doing those ibadah, we can foster our moral dicipline, taqwa and spiritual purification until we can shape a better version of us.

In this week, we learn about preparation of salah to achieve khushu'. This contains 4 main idea which is Salah, wudhu, tayammun and khusyu'.

If we want to achieve khusyu' in salah, this 4 main idea is really important for us to know. The first one in salah. We need to know the pillar in salah so that we can focus on our salah without doubting that the salah is right or wrong. There are also lots of thing we need to know such as sunnah in salah to make us easier to achieve khusyu' Insya Allah. As for wudhu', we know that wudhu' is important to perform salah. Without wudhu' our salah in cancelled because its the term Allah tell His slave to do and we have to obey. So we need to know how to take wudhu' step by step so that we know our salah will not be cancelled. Instead of wudhu', there are also alternative way to take congretation which is tayammum. But tayammum only can do if there is no water to take wudhu', so that we use clean dust to take tayammum and of course we need to know how to do it correctly. Last one is khusyu' itself. There are things we need to obey and follow to achieve the khusyu' in salah such as take a bath, make preparation so that we can be ready instead of distracted to other matters and others.

Insya Allah from this session it remind us to perform prayer in khusyu to perform our salah to Allah in best condition of us

We were thought about the virtues we got from fasting.

As we know Allah set upon His slave to fasting as act of taqwa towards the creator.

And Allah is generous enough and reward His slave by doing fasting which is sabr (patience) and self restrain, and rahmah which is mercy and emphaty.

By fasting, we Muslim need to be patience to wait maghrib which is our time to break fast by eating. So that this will eventually shape a patience type of Muslim in ourselves. And beside that, we can be a rahmah person which is mercy to other people. This is because we feel the hunger that other people who is unlucky felt when they dont have food to eat.

This week is consequences from last week which is about khusyu' in salah. This week we learned about the virtues of founding khusyu' in our salah.

Allah SWT said in Quran in surah Mu'minun, "successfull indeed are the believers those who humble themselves in prayer". So, we know that Allah SWT guarantee a success in life world and hereafter for those who find khusyu' in their salah.

This is because, there are 5 traits can be added in ourselves by succesfully found khusyu' in our prayer. Those 5 are:

Al-Taah (submission and loyalty). Which contains our obedience to Allah with full of sincere and acceptance of Allah in every command. This can train our dicipline no matter in what condition.

Al-Jihad (striving in the path of Allah). This is when we fight our laziness and distration to obey and perform salah in our daily lives. Also consistening in salah can build strength.

Muhasabah (self reflection). This moment is when we self check on what our good and wrongdoing in order to fix what is bad to make us a better person. This is also an act of awareness of our sins that we commit.

'Iffah (Modesty and self restrain). A succesfull prayer can guard oneself from commiting sins because Allah already promise that to His slave.

Tawaddu' (Humility). This can remove our pride and arrogance as in salah we sujud to Allah, our creator as a sign of humility.

So in general khusyu' in salah build a strong Islamic personality on oneself. It also can improve a good behaviour and strengthen our faith.

For the last week of usrah in this sem, we were thought about the virtues found in doing zakah and sadaqah.

These two is actually giving awak our money to those who are needed and this show our gratitude by getting rizq from Allah.

Zakah is an obligation upon all Muslim that are wealth to those who are unlucky. Zakah show that Islam is not only spiritual dimension but also invlove our daily live in this world which is contains our money. So from zakah, people who are unlucky in their financial can also benefit from Allah SWT rizq towards other people.

As for sadaqah, its a sunnah that taught to us. We can share our money but its not an obligatory. The benefit is we can gain some reward from Allah without time limit.

These two can lead to same virtues with is helping those who are in need adn also strengthen the ukhuwah between Muslims out there. By sharing money we can be kind to other people and greet them to make their daily lives happier. This also create a humble and generous Muslim which is good for us to be role model to others.
