https://edpuzzle.com/
This looks interesting to me because it says it's great for a flipped classroom which is the first model I'm getting familiar with. I can pick a video, add notes to it, and add questions to it. Seems like it would be a great way to complete some of the assignments I assign on paper in a different way, plus monitor the student's learning as opposed to their peer-copying skills. One thing I'd like to know - can I make and post my own videos on it or does it only contain its own bank of videos. Definitely need to play with this tool a bit. Does it cost?

https://socrative.com/
This looks like a very useful tool that can provide engaging formative assessment. There are some choices for activity type. One choice allows for creating friendly competition between students or small groups. It provides instant, visual feedback on student responses allowing student understanding to be easily assessed. Questions can be quickly assessed for impromptu feedback. There is also a choice to use it for exit tickets.
