Are we expected to simply list and display items with basic filtering/searching? Or should this project lean more toward building a fully fleshed-out, interactive user experience that simulates a real product?

Given that we have multiple days and are being evaluated on our engineering approach, I just want to make sure I’m not undershooting or overshooting the assignment.

Appreciate any clarity you can provide!

Would it be a good idea for us to design and program our own data structures such as a hash map to better show our understanding of these structures. Or would it not be recommended.

Is it okay to use ES6 array methods like map, filter and reduce to implement sort/search functionalities?

Also, are we allowed to modify the dataset by adding some additional key-value pairs that might be useful for the project?

Lastly, if the dataset doesn’t include any images, are we allowed to use AI-generated images instead?

I've used a dataset of around 10000+ and was wondering if that was too big or if again it is completely up to us? I had this question as I've read that many people have used at most a dataset of 200.

I was wondering if we can work on our project even though we are done with it and have turned it in. I am asking because there are some features(outside of the requirements) I wanted to add but I didn't have enough time to implement it so I was wondering if I can add more code to my current codebase or is that it.

Given that AI code is allowed for HTML and CSS, is it also allowed to be used for generating UML diagrams through .md's and .mmd's for planning the data structure and catalog website?
