         <description><![CDATA[<div>I asked students to calculate series and parallel resistance values for several resistors - then they can immediately assess themselves in a performance assessment by measuring the actual resistances values of actual physical resistors with a multimeter. They can see if they are way off in their calculations this way too. There may be possibilities to do this in math or science class too with physical manipulatives.<br><br></div>]]></description>
