(2.6° S, 63.0° W)Tropical rainforests are always warm and never experience frost. They can get anywhere from 2,000 to 10,000 millimeters of precipitation a year. This biome is found near the equator where it's the warmest. The forest floor is decomposed leaf litter that returns nutrients back into the soil. Most of the plant life lives in the upper canopy of trees where they can get sunlight because the floor can be so dark. Rainforests are packed full of diverse species of animals and plants that each have a unique and distinct adaptations for their life in the rainforest.

Bush dogs are very rare throughout the world and only found in cer. They are reddish brown mammals that in many ways resemble a regular house dog but with a rounder and more wolf-like face and short round tail. They are carnivores and hunt in groups during the day. They use hollow logs and empty burrows for shelter. Bush Dogs were once thought to be extinct but they are actually just rare. The reasons for their decline in population is unknown but is likely because of the destruction of the rainforests.

The Giant Otter is the largest member of the weasel family. They are generally very friendly but are extremely territorial and will get violent with other imposing creatures, including other groups of otters.
