My parents are the most significant source of wisdom in my life. I find their opinions and advice about my career choices to be trustworthy and valuable because they have lived longer on this earth than I have, and they have always been there for me when I needed a second opinion or just general help when life gets tough. I don't know who I would go to for advice about life, career, or otherwise if I didn't have them. I feel very fortunate that God gave me such wonderful parents.

I chose a video I saw in high school for my media choice. It's pointless, but it was so funny that when a friend showed it to me in class, we all got called down because we laughed so hard.

Who's At My Table?

I would include my parents, a dear friend from church, and my Preacher to sit at my table. These folks have spoken into my life numerous times and always have helpful things to say when I need advice or someone to talk to.

I chose this medium because it's a simple photo of some folks...sitting at a table.

What Traits Do My Table Mates Have?

My table mates exhibit traits of virtue and authenticity. They constantly advise me on what is right or wrong and always look out for my best interest when it comes to staying on God's path for my life. These folks are some of the most authentic people you'll ever meet, just plain down-to-earth people, and I'm so thankful that they are in my life.

What Desires Do I Have?

One desire I have that I hope to fulfill with my career choices is to become a case manager and, hopefully, a therapist. I didn't always want this as my career plan, but I guess God had other plans, and I'm very thankful because this career path feels just right for me. I can't explain it. If you had told me three years ago I'd be here getting ready to graduate with a bachelor's in psychology, I'd have laughed in your face. It's funny how life works sometimes.

I chose this media because it's straightforward...like many road signs are.

What Talents Do I Have?

One talent I have is sewing. I'm not quite sure how sewing can help me in my career as a case manager/therapist, but other than that, multiple people have told me that I'm "easy to talk to and open up to." I think that's a talent. Regardless of whether it is, given my career path, I think that's one of the most influential compliments I have received.

I chose this media because it's from one of the most hilarious movies I've ever watched, Napoleon Dynamite; if you haven't watched it, please do. It's stupidly funny and will make you laugh.
