This is an example of active learning because we were not just thrown out there we were told to observe our teacher and try to replicate what he did.

For example, our first essay was on how we formed our relationships with English and Literature. This made it easier to connect problems I may have had with school to my own life.

- My Human Planet professor lets us choose an article to write on each week. This gives students freedom to have a choice on what they write about. Each time I took the class, I knew I wanted to educate. myself on the events going on today. I took the course with the goal of becoming more educated, so I could become an advocate of social change.
