- Judas takes the initiative and asked a priest what he is willing to take in exchange for Jesus. The priests counted out 30 pieces of silver and gave them to Judas, and Judas from then on looked for an opportunity to hand over Jesus.

When evening came, Jesus went with his disciples and ate (last supper) and went to the Mount of Olives. While praying at Gethsamane, he was arrested with Judas' kiss. He was arrested and taken to the Sanhedrin, where they said he is worthy of death. A servant asked Peter if he was with Jesus, and he denied it – to fulfill the prophecy of Jesus.
- This must have been a long night for Jesus. He had to go through his last meal, arrest, denial, betrayal, and false accusations all in a span of a couple hours. - Jesus was held on trial before Pilate. Pilate found nothing wrong with Jesus, but he still submitted to what the Jewish people wanted and handed him over to be crucified. Jesus endured mocking by the Roman guards and was crucified in agonizing pain. He died the death that everyone deserved, and was buried in Joseph of Arimethea's tomb.

- Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went down into the tomb to see how it was. Suddenly, an earthquake hit them and they saw an angel. The angel said that Jesus was not there, but that he had risen and went ahead of them to Galilee. The guards also went to the chief priests and reported everything that happened. The disciples went to Galilee and saw Jesus and worshiped him!
- Something interesting about the religion of Christianity is that it rests upon only one fact: Jesus is risen. IF Jesus did not rise from the dead, then there would be no reason as to why we are following him because it means that he is not God, which means that we don't have to believe his words.
