One school year she was chosen for class vice president, but the next year, she lost the elections against two boys and one of them said to her: “you are very stupid if you think a girl can be elected president”.  Hillary and other students were transferred to Maine South High School, where she graduated.

Hillary entered Yale Law School, she worked at the Yale Child Study Center, she also participated on helping child abuse at Yale–New Haven Hospital.  She also worked at Marian Wright Edelman's Washington Research Project.

In 1917,she started dating Bill Clinton who was a law student at Yale.
