The children visited UAB "Agromita", where they got acquainted with mini tractors. Pupils performed the tasks assigned to them: counted tractors, collected the largest and smallest, compared them by size and color, drew the tractor of their dreams. Did you find out what a tractor driver is? What does he do? He visited the repair workshop, got acquainted with some work tools, and explained how they come to us from Japan. The funnest and most interesting part of the education is the tractor ride (you could drive the tractor yourself). This is how the children got to know the profession of a tractor driver.

Our school is actually a vocational high school. In our kindergarten, students from high school and university can come to practice teaching and gain experience in pre-school teaching. AFAD Disaster Search and Rescue team was our guest. In order to raise awareness of the beautiful children of our country, which is on the earthquake fault lines, AFAD team, which is a civil defense organization, presented our students with practical information about what to do during and after the earthquake. They assigned our students as AFAD volunteers. It was a great day with great benefits.

Children and teachers visited the Riga Zoo. During the excursion, there was an opportunity to get to know the animals in an educational lesson led by the employees of "Rīgas Zoo". During the lesson, the children learned what animals do in different seasons. The children learned about the change of seasons by modeling the movement of the Earth around the sun, studied and observed the animals in the zoo and learned about their adaptations to the rhythm of the day and the change of seasons. As well as enriching the vocabulary, improving listening and speaking skills, and promoting good habits towards animals and the environment.
