I am observing and learning about children everyday. I love to observe them. w0761378 https://padlet.com/w0761378/nd79v1gsg95jm5e1/wish/2149016061 I was a teacher 15 years ago.  I asked my students to draw something that they love. One of the students who was 5 years and 2 months old drew something which amazed me. It was not the drawing but the explanation she gave of her drawing. She mentioned a lake, a mountain, her dad fishing, and playing with her brother. Their house is close to the lake. All the details she provided were extraordinary, I did not expect this from a five-year-old girl. She drew me an icy blue lake next to some mossy green mountains.  There were 2 fish swimming together in the lake and on the land, it was her dad fishing and her and her brother playing tag. The vivid details amazed me. 
As a teacher I interacted with many students and sometimes things happen that really make me appreciate the value of my job. When I see a student that exceeds my expectations it makes me truly happy to know that they are growing, and I get to be a part of that journey. If they are given open space, then they can use their imagination and come up with creative ideas.
