Why Do We Need A New Source of Energy?

The Earth has a crisis where our current sources of energy like oil, coal, and gas are destroying our planet. These energies are destroying our ozone layer and warming our planet. We need a different cleaner and renewable source of energy. I believe that wind energy would be our best option for a new source of energy.

There are other good contenders for renewable energy like solar and nuclear. However I still feel that wind energy is still more viable than these other options. Solar may be a good contender but solar only generates energy during the day while the winds lasts 24 hours. Wind is always producing energy. Nuclear and fission and too risky and expensive compared to wind energy which is a safer option. Hydro energy is cheaper but destroys habitats and pollutes the water.
Overall wind energy just has many pros while the other sources of energy are met with their downfalls.
