I think that Chase's symbol would be a butterfly in it's cocoon. Because when Chase falls off the roof, he completely changes, which is similar to how a caterpillar changes from a caterpillar to a butterfly. Chase did not just change his physical appearance but also his emotional self.

Chase’s favorite book would be “The Maze Runner,” by James Dashner. This would be Chase’s favorite book because the beginning starts where the main character, Thomas, doesn’t remember anything of his past. Thomas makes new friends just like Chase. There is a lot of action involved in the book that Chase would like. “The Maze Runner” would be Chase’s favorite book for these reasons.

I feel as if Chase relates to many songs, and these are a few of them:

- Chase relates slightly to this line in Closer (feat. Halsey) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yiMu7nge7o , by the Chainsmokers, "Tell your friends it was nice to meet them, but I hope I never see them again," in the part of the story that Chase was just finished with practice, and was reminded by Aaron that he stole the medal, and then wanted to "put as much distance as possible between myself and those two," physically and emotionally.

- Chase also relates to Getaway Car https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqyA4o6c2NE, by Taylor Swift, because at first he was with the bullies, then turned on them once he realized the fault in his former ways

- Chase relates quite a bit to the song Restart https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBwH0XOb6dk, by Newsboys, because in the song it states that "Oh Lord I'm a different man, you gave me a 2nd chance," this is essentially what happened to Chase when he fell off the roof, he was basically given a 2nd chance to become a better person, because he became a blank slate, pretty much all memory erased, just like in a video game, when you hit "restart", or "delete all progress", your game still works, but all other memory was destroyed.

I think this represents Chase because he never forgot what he did in the past. This is shown at the end of the book when he says "There is only one Chase." eaning he has accepted that he committed all of those crimes and bullied all those people. But in order to learn from his mistakes he had to forgive himself but not forget.

Favorite Book for Chase
I think Chase’s favorite book would be QB 1 by Mike Lupica. The book is themed around football which Chase loves. The main character in QB 1 is a boy named Jake Cullen. Like Jake, Chase is fighting for respect. They both want to blend in to highschool life. I think Chase would find a lot of similarities between himself and the character, Jake, in QB1.

I think this quote is good advice for Chase. He may not remember that he was a bully, but other students do. He wants to move forward and and I think the idea of making a new ending is a good one.

I think if everyone made a effort to be kind we could create a culture of kindness. The book Restart made me realize that a culture of kindness could really change things for all students.

I Think two of the songs on Chases playlist in the start of the book would be we We will rock you by Queen and eye of the tiger by survivor.I think these two books would be on his playlist because in the beginning one of the only things he knew about himself was that he liked sports and was good at them,so he would have these as motivational training music so he could still do one thing he loved and have something to talk about to his friends.
