We simulated a vassalage contract that would have taken place in the Monastery of Cête, in 1111.

The parties involved are Count Robert and the knight Simon, who swears fealty to the count and gives him the fiefdom.

Fomos procurar imagens da cidade do Porto, de alguns locais específicos e colonos em diálogo duas fotos e vimos as alterações que a cidade foi sofrendo ao longo do tempo. Alterações motivadas pelo gosto da época, por questões de desenvolvimento de projetos ou até de interesses turísticos.

A cidade foi sofrendo renovação.

Oporto bridges

Oporto as the second great river at Portugal, Douro, in the other margin there is a Vila Nova de Gaia town also with many citizens. The bridges needed to cross Douro river are six at the present time, in the near future there will be eight to nine. In the picture we can see the first one, Pensil Bridge, and before that there was a bridge made by boats, at the nineteen century.

It was Gustave Eiffel the responsible engineer for the construct. It was a train bridge to cross Douro river. In the back, we can see Infante D. Henrique bridge done 2003.

D. Luis I, bridge - Oporto - 1881

The iconic bridge from Oporto, engineer responsible for it Théophile Seyrig, done in 1881. The second half of the nineteen century its known for the use of iron on the architecture projects, in Oporto there is a great number of buildings and structures that meet this idea.

Arrábida bridge - 1963

Arrábida bridge it was, ate the moment of is construction, the bridge with the largest reinforced concrete arch in the world. Concluded in 1963 by Edgar Cardoso Portuguese engineer, responsible for other train bridge at the same river, São João bridge, conclude 1991.

Os alunos tiveram a oportunidade de visitar e perceber a importância da presença romana para aquilo que nós hoje somos como povo europeu que fala português. Tudo associado à exploração do ouro, base da moeda romana que suportava as trocas comerciais.
