  • Open this Padlet
  • Go to the three dots ... (top right of Padlet screen) and select "sign up".
  • Create an account:
    •  Visit https://padlet.com and select "Sign up for FREE".
    • Use your Sussex email address to create account: Enter your info and select Sign up. 
  • Make sure you make a note of your password!!!
  • The Padlet is now open in your new account
  • Copy the Padlet to your account
    • Go to the three dots ... (top right of Padlet screen)
    • Select "Remake"
    • Change title to your name and class
    • Make sure you select "copy design" and "copy posts"
    • Click "submit"
  • You have now copied the Padlet to your account and can edit it.
  • Customize
    • Click on the little wheel (top right). 
    • You might like to change the wallpaper, font, colours,
    • Do not change the posting settings.
    • Click "SAVE" when you make changes
  • Copy the URL for your Padlet and send this to your tutor
  • It's a good idea to also download the Padlet app for use on your phone/tablet.

    1. Edit the docs posts (see instructions on the posts on next column). Do not do CV 2 yet.
    2. Rename the sections according to your PDP; You can do this according to skills,week or according to activity. You can rename these whenever you like.
    3. Add and name as many sections as you think you will need
    4. When you post you can write directly, upload photos, videos, screenshots, word docs, PDFs, voice recordings as well as provide links to web pages and videos hosted elsewhere (eg YouTube). There is a file size limit of 25mb, so you can only upload short video clips. 
    5. If you wish to use longer videos you need to save them in Google Drive, or on YouTube and use the link function to place them in your portfoilo.
    6. You can post sound, video and image directly using your mic and webcam or using your phone. You can also make a sketch using the phone app.
    7. Where appropriate you should make some reflective comments about what you have been doing so far.
    8. Posts can be re-ordered within sections by dragging and dropping. Similarly, the sections themselves can be re-ordered in this way.
    9. If you want to move posts to different sections: hover on the post, click on the three dots, click on "transfer post" and select the section you want to move it to.
    10. In week 11-12 you will need to complete all the posts under "Final Thoughts". Details are attached here
