         <description><![CDATA[<p>Ingestion occurs when hazardous substances enter the body through the mouth and are swallowed into the digestive system</p><p>It will happen when:</p><ul><li><p>Eating and drinking in the laboratory</p></li><li><p>Touching food with contaminated hands or gloves</p></li><li><p>Poor hygiene (not washing hands after handling chemicals)</p></li></ul><p>Chemicals will enter the stomach and intestine, and absorbed into the bloodstream.          <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>The chemicals entry into the body from the mouth, pass through the digest system and finally go into the bloodstream.</p></li><li><p>Some are easily absorbed in the stomach and some may become more toxic after metabolism.</p></li><li><p>The chemicals might contaminated on Sara's hand. When she touch her face and mouth, she may ingest the chemicals.</p></li><li><p>Sara may also not have followed to the lab safety guidelines and eat or drink something in the lab. Then she ingest the chemicals when using her hand which has chemical contaminated.</p></li><li><p>Eventually, if the food is put near the work area, the chemical fume will also settle on the food. Sara will accidental ingest the chemicals through this way.</p></li><li><p>Sara may also not wear the PPE and the fume of chemical contaminated on her skin and clothes. She bring the chemicals adhere to the clothes back to her house. </p></li><li><p>Even if she was wearing gloves, he may use the gloves to touch her phones, pens or door handling. She touch her phones, pens or door handling after take off the gloves.</p></li><li><p>Then, she not washing her hand and touch her face then she ingest indirectly.</p></li></ul>]]></description>
