In these quotes he uses "we" a lot and also knows that we as Americans our fortunate to be given freedom and he says that while he is in office he will protect that right. He makes points that tie back to the main ideas of his speech he was trying to target. Such as working together as a society, because as a whole we are a lot stronger than as separate groups or individuals. This is evident throughout the speech, where "we" and "protecting" are brought up. JFK uses those words in explaining that we have to protect our rights, and protect our freedoms. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." he uses repetition and where he repeats the "ask not what your country can do for" and "ask not what America will do for you" 

This has a big affect on the ending of his speech.  This rhetorical question and repetitiveness allows the reader to think about what the question was and he repeated it a second time to really instill this into the reader's mind.
