This increased the trade which made them a lot more wealthy.

I think trade influenced the development and expansion in the Song Dynasty because in the article, "The Song Dynasty" it states "The famous Silk Road trade routes were revived during the Song dynasty, which enabled more trade of goods with the West. With the increase in trade, a new class of merchants blossomed." This concludes that it helped becuase they were able to acsess new things that other empires had to offer.

The Song dynasty, emerging from the dawn of the 5 dynasties, utilized trade to expand its external influece as a means to strengthen the interior. Populations flourished as a result new agricultural technology shared, and silk, a luxurious comodity as it was, was the tabacco of the south to the Songs- as silk production was tradionally Chinese, prices were purposley manipulated so that profits were large; and losses, happening at intervals among the silk roads, were little in comparison. All of this provided a basis for Song arts and intellects to prosper.

One of the big reasons the Song Dynasty flourished so much was the Silk Road. The Silk road allowed many goods to be transported from all over the world. The people of the Song Dynasty would trade things that they needed and could not make themselves. In return they traded many ideas, inventions and materials. That allowed them to become very beautiful and wealthy because they could get anything they wanted/needed.

Trade because he took control of the salt and gold trade which made the Mali empire very rich. Religion because while he was taking a pilgrimage he trade a lot of gold lower the value of gold by a lot.

Trade helped The Song Dynasty grow as an empire and Influenced their way of life. For example, silk and Jade were valuable to Europe and Africa so the Song Dynasty got what they thought was valuable during the time like gold and salt. Also ideas were spread in trade like when China invented crossbows and gunpowder so everyone wanted better ways to protect themselves and conquer other places so gunpowder and crossbows had high demand and the Song Dynasty became even richer.

Trade in the Song Dynasty heavily influenced the development and expansion of the Empire. An example was there talent in nautical engineering, also known as ship building. The more ships, the more items to carry from trading. And, the more items to carry, the more money they would make. The more money they would make, the more ships. It's an entire cycle and through each made the Song Dynasty richer and richer. Another example was the Silk Road. The silk road had the trading of goods more available in the West, creating a new generation of merchants. Therefore, trade has heavily impacted the development of the empire.

I think trade influenced the song dynasty because, in the text it stated that the silk road was revived during the song dynasty which helped them get goods from others and was easier. Another reason was that some of there inventions helped trade a lot like there ships it made it faster then walking to get goods and etc. Trade was a big impact because it gave the song dynasty a lot of goods and they could get inventions from others that they did not have.

So, trade was very popular for salt and gold since they were both very valuable. Since so much trading was going on, religion was also being passed on through trading.
