I'm allowed to search on Google Translator.
Primeiramente indico como sujeito da frase quem recebe permissão, depois conjugo o "be" de acordo com esse sujeito. Em seguida, acrescento a palavra "allowed to" acompanhado de verbo de ação e complemento.
IMPORTANTE:
A conjugação de tempo verbal se faz através do verbo "be" e nunca do verbo de ação:
She is allowed to search on Google Translator.
She was allowed to search on Google Translator.

Se alguém dá permissão, essa permissão é concedida para alguém, por isso é necessário indicar QUEM deu permissão e quem recebeu permissão em uma mesma frase. Para isso, é preciso utilizar OBJECT PRONOUNS logo após o verbo let:
The English teacher lets US (nos deixa) search on Google Translator.
My parents let ME (me deixam) go to school alone.

INFINITIVE:
Use: to say what you can/can’t do.

We aren’t allowed to smoke in the office. (= We can’t smoke in the office).
We are allowed to smoke in the office. (= We can smoke in the office).

Past tense: was/were allowed
We were allowed to smoke in the office.

LET + OBJECT + BASE FORM VERB
Use: to talk about giving permission.

My mom lets me go out on weekends. (= She gives me permission to go out on weekends).

Past tense: let
I let you go out that night.

MAKE + OBJECT + BASE FORM VERB
Use: to say what a person obliges another person to do.

She makes me study a lot (= She obliges me to study a lot).

Past tense: made
She made me study a lot.
