Hi babygirl, I can't believe you're all grown up, it feels like only yesterday that the doctor was telling me I had given birth to a beautiful little girl and then them placing you in my arms. 
You were so small. 
I was so scared that I would break you and that I wasn't ready to be a mom yet, but you were the best thing that happened to me.

When I met your dad things happened so fast. We fell in love fast, we broke our cultuers rules and then just as quickly as we fell in love your father fell out. 
He left me all alone, pregnate with no family. 
I don't want you to hate your dad, in our culture it is wrong to have sex before marriage and he was scared he's family would shun him and he was scared to be a father so young, he was scared and he was only human. He can't change his mistakes but he can learn from them and I hope that in the years to come he grows and decided to become apart of your life, because you are someone worth knowning. 

Your grandparents and my family, I miss them all, and it broke my heart to have to leave and lose them because besides you, they were my world! But if I could go back in time and change anything, I wouldn't, I wouldn't change a thing. 

When I met your dad I thought I knew what love was but you showed me the true meaning of love. What it means to put another needs before your own, to love someone no matter the mistakes they make, to just want to protect and shield you from all the bad in the world, a heart just so full of love and happiness. Someone that can simply smile and make you forget all your pain and saddness. 
That is what is what I want for you my darling. I want you to be happy and loved and to know what true love feels like; be it with someone you love no matter race, gender or anything, be it a bestfriend that always has your back, or even a sweet little child of your own. 

We have gone through so much together, so much good and alot of downs but you have always been my strenght, my guidance and my reason to fight back. You have saved me in more ways than one.
I will love you no matter what!! Nothing will ever change that.

She is the most amazing thing in my life, she has given me strength that I didn't know I had in me. She's so funny always making me laugh at the simplest things. She reminds me of Bo in that way.

I've decided that I'm going to record everything I can about Selena so that one day if you feel like you can forgive me or even if you just want to have Selena in your life; there will be a video for everything so you won't miss anything, like you were apart of it all.
