<title>As a special education teacher I feel like am I am constantly trying to teach my students &quot;the power of not yet&quot; With students who struggle with reading comprehension I try to teach them a structured process to read a paragraph or even a sentence and break things down and try and figure out what they mean. Then once they figure that out to make an annotation or little note and then try to summarize. This process of &quot;not yet&quot; has to really be applied all of the time to students who have challenges learning/or behaviorally. Once you can get them to see the success they feel more confident and trust you more and are more willing to take more chances. </title>

<title>and I think thats why students either love or hate science. Some are too adverse to the not yet and the required patience to really learn from it while others like the challenge of turning not yet into now! </title>
