A term used to categorise people with the condition of frailty, although a medical term it can often be used stereotypically "they are very frail". Also used as a label. 

When thinking about frailty, it is often stereotypically associated with people 60yrs+ who are very thin and/or have lost a lot of weight. Long term conditions contribute to this along with the mobility of a patient. 

The picture attached visions an elderly gentleman who appears to have decreased mobility, and appears to have lost a lot of weight. When I think of frailty, I think of an elderly person with sarcopenia, an older person at increased risk of falls, those experiencing cognitive decline and impairment, people living in social isolation and lonely, increasing disability and dependency; and recurrent hospital admissions.

Potential tremor
Uncertain future
Slower pace
Weakened respiratory system
Somebody needing protection and safeguarding
Somebody needing to be made to feel safe and secure
Someone who needs reassurance
