Its even longer than Hawaii where I live because the coast of Hawaii is 266 miles long. We have a palace called Hulihee. Governor Kuakini built it on Alii Drive in 1838.Afterword Prince Ruth Keelikolani inherited in 1844. All of the Hawaiian royalty stayed there for many years. Did you know in 1925 the Territory of Hawaii sold the palace? In 2006, there was an earthquake in Kona that damaged the palace. The first statue was lost at sea. When they found the statue, it was placed at his birthplace in Kohala. Then another statue was made for Honolulu. There are two more that are located in Hilo and Washington D.C. Then the last one is in Maui.
