5. This article is about how injuries and how it can ruin a athlete life. Notre Dame Linebacker Jaylon Smith was widely considered a top-10 draft prospect before tearing the ACL and LCL in his left knee on New Year's Day in the Fiesta Bowl. Suffering a injury is normal in sports you can’t really blame yourself or anyone for that. Injuries do ruin lives as it did to Jaylon smith, but there are ways we can prevent more career ending injuries. For example before concussion a lot of athletes got concussion especially in football. But they changed it and now they got concussion helmets. Jaylon from now on should wear a knee pad that supports his joints, perhaps cooper fit.

36,000 Verizon workers have walked off the job Wednesday after failing to reach a new labor agreement. This is the largest strike in the United States since Verizon workers last walked off the job in 2011, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. That strike involved 45,000 workers. They have gone without a contract since August and their union the communication workers of America say it is fighting to get Verizon to come to the table with a better offer. I think if people really go on strike they are truly being treated unfairly. A strike hurts businesses and gives the employees an edge because they don’t have anything to lose. Businesses and employees can solve this problem by meeting in the middle it is just that simple. Businesses should be considerate  of employees salary amount base on their personal issues. For example like if they have kids to feed or they are barely making ends meat.
