Banking education does not teach us on how to voice objection or dissent to ideas presented. Freire states that only through problem posing education and praxis can students be truly human. The instructor at UArizona uses the case of posing a question of why there are so many African-American men in prisons, identified a possible reason and solution in education and making a program of courses that led to an associates degree to act upon the question.

I previously couldn't see the application to real-life K-12 classrooms, and perhaps its hard to encourage praxis for 5 year olds but for secondary students, we can create projects where students are (at least attempting) to enact change on a classroom, school, community, city level which is super exciting!
