We learned that each country has his own priorities and their way of working. It was all realistic & recognazible.

At the other hand, we have the samen "problems" in all our prisons. Too many inmates, not enough PO's, less budget, overcrowded, more prisoners with mental health problems. 

Nowing the DNA of every country was  inspiring! 

Also the differents in training & mentality for the new recruts. (Age, psychical training, armed or not armed, more or less "military"organized.

Regarding the study cases, the game that took two days, thumbs up. So I would give some thoughts on this. Even if the actual presentations could have been improved to all of us, the activity behind the scenes, from the team, was great: exchange of ideas, experiences, scenarios, solutions, and we got to know each other's style and way of being. Also, I really liked the activity theme itself, but what I would specifically recommend in this kind of activity game would be for the trainers to request as a result an IDEAL way of solving the problem, the detected conflict. Not necessarily a real way, applicable in all countries or only in one, but somehow how we would see to manage, to prevent different situations if we had the possibility to develop procedures, decisions, laws. And why not, a short sentence that would present how we think the situation in our country would have been for real resolved. Also, a last opinion would be that the requested presentation method to be unitary - explicit power point or word, explicit role play or brainstorming, so each team should start from something standard, able to adapt it and come up with innovations and creativity.
