I chose this quote because it really resonates with me in the season of life I am currently going through. I never want to automatically disregard the advice that my friends and family give me, but I don't ever want to let their thoughts and opinions control the life decisions that I make. It's a delicate balance and I've been dealing with that it a lot lately. This quote also resonates with me because I never wanted to settle for a career that I wasn't completely happy being in. That's why I am so glad that I went with my gut and chose to go into the Music Education field where I get to do what I love everyday.
