Women have historically faced systemic barriers to entering politics, yet many have broken through and made significant contributions to governance, democracy, and social change. I want to learn about their struggles, strategies, and successes so I can better appreciate their impact and perhaps contribute to advancing gender equality in leadership myself. This course will also help me understand the intersection of culture, politics, and gender, which is crucial for creating inclusive policies in the future.
