Tai Chi comes from ancient China and is an "inner" or "soft" martial art form that people practice regularly because it benefits the mind and body. Overall, it is a non-competitive, gentle and slow-paced exercise. Contrary to the Western philosophy of "no effort, no gain", an hour of Tai Chi actually burns more calories than surfing, even close to skiing. So it's definitely a veritable fitness exercise. But that's just one of its many benefits! Not only does Tai Chi enhance your strength, flexibility, physical perception, and mental focus, it also makes you healthier.

For this reason, the number four is avoided—particularly on phone numbers, license plates, and addresses.

7 - The number 7 in Mandarin sounds like "even" in Mandarin, so it is a good number for relationships. It also sounds like "arise" and "life essence" in Mandarin. Seven can also be considered an unlucky number since the 7th month (July) is a "ghost month".

in China may date back to the 2nd century CE, when paper was invented by Cai Lun, a court official of the Eastern Han Dynasty. As paper became more affordable, paper-cutting became one of the most important types of Chinese folk art. Later, this art form spread to other parts of the world, with different regions adopting their own cultural styles. Because the cut-outs are often used to decorate doors and windows, they are sometimes referred to as "window flowers" or "window paper-cuts". These cut-paper decorations are often glued to the exterior of windows, so the light from the inside shines through the negative space of the cutout. Usually, the artworks are made of red paper, as red is associated with festivities and happiness in Chinese culture, but other colours are also used. Normally cut-paper artwork is used on festivals such as Chinese New Year, weddings and childbirth, as cut-paper artwork is considered to symbolize luck and happiness.

In addition to the one-child policy, Chinese families' increasing economic strength has resulted in the improvement of their spending power, and parents generally hope that their children will not suffer as hard as they did when they were young.
