The Assoicate Dean reported that 34 out of 40 students, the group concerning the student representative submitted their assignment for managing people. The student representative in question passed the module with 57%. The students were provided one to one support as in when it is required.

Part-time welfare officers have been implemented in London East campuses, Birmingham and Manchester. We are currently interviewing for Greenford and Leeds. This means there is now welfare cover for evening and weekend students. Students can email welfare to book appointments or drop in to the campus welfare area.

Marketing emails have gone out each month to promote welfare events. We have also appointed student health and wellbeing ambassadors across all campuses.

The next training opportunity for students interested in applying to become a student health and wellbeing ambassador will be in June 2023. Please email welfare@globalbanking.ac.uk to be considered for the role.

A Microsoft Teams channel has been created where student representatives can communicate with each other and the Student Engagement Manager. Reps who would like to be included on this channel should send their GBS email address to studentrep@globalbanking.ac.uk and they will be added. Customer service to look at the process in providing students with IDs at induction. SST’s to follow up with Students who do not have Student ID’s and arrange their ID’s to be produced.

This fails part of our standard processes. Customer Service, once IT has printed off all ID cards will distribute them during the Enrolment weeks, any ID cards that have not been printed will be distributed during the teaching week. If we require the support from SST’s we will request this. SSTs should refer all students to Customer Services. Customer Service monitors the card volumes received by IT and what cards have been distributed daily.
