I remember one day after dealing with a difficult Precalculus assignment I entered your class feeling terrible. But even though I tried to hide my feelings

I specifically remember you noticing and coming up to me personally to ask "are you alright?"

I then responded by opening up and telling you everything that had been going on with me that day and how I wasn't feeling too great.

And after you listened with your full attention you then asked me "would you like to go on a walk?"

I remember immediately saying yes and walking down the hall by with you by my side over to the computer room so that I could relax and chill.

Even though this moment lasted only 5 minutes it always stuck with me and really showed the kind, nice, and empathetic, person you really are.

As I wrap up this letter I wanted to thank you personally for thinking and caring about me while simultaneously having to teach a class of 25 or so students.

I hope you enjoy your sabbatical.

Thank you for brightening my day every 4th period when I come in to teach in your room. You make me feel welcome, calm, and appreciated!
