Itukdi wigwa, I am from the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, OR Indian Reservation. I work for the Culture and Heritage Language Program. I am a semi fluent speaker of Kiksht language of the Wasq'u people of the Columbia River. The same dialect as the Wishxam on the opposite side of the Columbia River. We have no more fluent elder speakers of this language. I have been to NILI in my earlier years of becoming a language teacher.
