         <description><![CDATA[<p>I think, first of all, being aware of the child's disability is important, as well as being aware of the child's abilities. From there, you can work around what he or she not able to do by finding AT devices or using other techniques that allows as much participation as possible with peers. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I feel that in many cases teachers need to focus more on what the disabled student CAN do as opposed to what said student CANNOT do. If the teacher is more concerned about what the student can't do, then it can draw attention to the disability, which the student may not appreciate.</p>]]></description>

From there I would try to incorporate the child's interest into the lesson to try and keep their attention and participation as high as it can. </p>]]></description>

The different ways include using AT devices so they can participate in activities. Also having another student push the child if he/she has a wheel chair, is a way to let the child participate in the lesson and get around.</p>]]></description>
