From pages 88-110 is Jerome and Sarah talking about how privileged Sarah is, and how grateful she should be since she can write her own name on a book. Because all the books his sister Kim reads are all borrowed from the library which she doesn't have the privilege to write her name on the cover, and he states that all these white people should be taking things for granted because his family can't even write their own names on a book.

From pages 110-130 is Jerome in court thinking of what he could've done to stay alive, since he can't bare to watch his family suffer because of his death. He tells himself they should be happy since he will always be in their hearts. Furthermore, after court Jerome and Sarah were in her room talking about if Jerome went to Sarah's school he would never miss a day, and she's missing school because of someone's death she's never met. Then out of nowhere they hear a poof some boy around Jerome's age appears he says his name is Emmet, but he looks like he is a young boy dressed as a grandpa then Jerome asks how old are you he asks, then he replied with I was born in 55.

From pages 150-180 is Sarah upset at her dad because why would he kill someone the same age as her, and almost the same height which made her very furious because her dad won awards for being the kindest and bravest officer so why would he ruin his reputation, but even tho he killed Jerome, he still wants Sarah to forgive her dad, officer Moore, because he would do anything to still be able to talk to his dad.

Pages 180-190. During court, Lawyers were yelling at each other, to prove which side was innocent, but when the judge yelled order, order, everyone went quiet. Then the judge stated "Since there is no evidence that officer Moore shot Jerome in the video Because the camera only showed Jerome which means officer Moore is innocent, and we will no longer continue in court.
