(3) Conflict: 24 teenagers get picked  to go into the hunger games and have to fight each other for there lives. Katniss starts to want to help people and is wondering if what she is doing is right or wrong in this situation.

(4) Theme: I thought the theme of this book was that put family first. Another reason that this was a mirror was because a lot of the time in the book I empathized for my character (Katniss) because alot the time she was put into a situation where she hade to make a decision to win the games or help other's.
