Calm, quiet, pure. Or is it really? On an ordinary Saturday a skier is almost run over by a Tow boat, did his friend intentionally drop the rope?  Lander is smitten with the ski driver and starts dating him, ignoring Miranda´s suggestion: That Jason is a murderer. The more Lander and Jason date, the more control he has over her. Lander has always been a perfect child, but with some of the things she´s been doing lately, she might just lose that title. 
Jason and Lander go on a date to the forest, and the last thing Lander remembers is a gun shot. A gun shot by her. But Lander hates guns, who would convince her to pick one up? Much less shoot one. Jason dies, and Lander is convicted. Miranda is left alone to pick up her families financial problems, and reputation. Mrs.Allerdon and Mr.Allerdon try to sell their cottage to bail Lander out of jail. Lander is sitting in a dark room with gray walls and no windows, scared of her future and career. The police come to the Allerdon´s house to inspect for clues, and Miranda hides Lander´s laptop. Is she just as guilty as Lander? Or is anyone actually guilty? Or is this in an elaborate scheme made up my criminal master minds? Then Miranda is hiding things from the police, trying to preserve any evidence. But if she really believed in her sisters innocence, would she hide something? But purity doesn´t last long, not at the lake at least. Because then Lander is accused of killing Jason, one of the only people she has ever loved. Was it really love? Or manipulation? Lander wonders how she will ever get out of jail, did I kill him? She asks herself over and over again, hoping for an answer. Rarely in her life has she ever been nervous. Now fear owns her, like a dog holding a duck in its teeth. She shoves at the fear, but it is the police officer she is hitting. They take her arm, not roughly, but as if it is theirs. She tries to pull free. 
They´re too strong. They shout at her to calm down and behave, NO
