    The location included royals which greatly affected the outlook on Liza who was demoted from a rich woman to now, a Princess's maid. 

    The location affects the character experience as Kensington Palace is a little run down and it gives Liza that distant hope feel which affects more of the tone and her actions. In other words, the palace doesn't serve much as her previous life.

    The important people at this time period included Queen Adelaide, Prince Ernst and Albert, Princess Victoria, the Duchess, and Sir John Conroy.
