born to moon jaeseok and anna yoon, elijah was expected to follow in his family's footsteps of government and the legal system. while beautiful, the brains did not meet the brawn with him. he struggled in school, always competing for last place in his grade. what was consistent were the notes the teachers wrote in his report card: "kindest boy in the class", "always helping the staff", and "never leaves a student behind". the last comment at times had its double edge, many of elijah's classmates' parents commenting how the little boy was not as quick or bright like his parents or younger sister. at least they knew it was not their kid last in the class.

when his father decided to let elijah try go karting, it was not a question of if he would go, rather when. the moment the boy got into a go kart, he seemed like a natural. for once, elijah was not only a speed demon, but strategist. while the child had difficulties with fractions, somehow he could convert kilometers to miles and vice versa in a couple of seconds. with talents like this, his father helped foster his racing career. elijah competed in go kart races in korea and japan, winning the asia pacific kf3 title and junior monaco kart cup.

he hated the campaign trails, finding them a bit shallow, but sucked it up and smiled through. after all, it was what his father wanted. at the very least, his father allowed him to pursue his costly racing dreams.

there were times the young moon got himself in trouble, racing his peers on the base with the contraband golf carts. however, he didn't mind. it was the closest thing he had to racing, that was on days he was on the base. his father had a few strings pulled, allowing elijah to practice on the side, in which he brought a few of his friends and superiors over. in some ways, those were some of his best days, carefree and enjoying life in that moment.

thanks to his past position with the red bull junior racing program, he was eventually brought on as a test driver for red bull's f1 team. at twenty-two, elijah knew that he was behind than some of the drivers in f1. however, he did not let that stop him, thankful that he had the opportunity at the very least. while at times he seemed a bit silly on camera, the team saw past that and eventually decided to take the next big step with him.

elijah was not one to crack. he became a diamond under pressure.

like his early times in f3, he struggled a bit. he tossed and turned in his sleep, worrying about the what ifs. what if he was dropped in his debut season? yet, he remembered that he could only focus on the now: do a good job and have fun. some said while he was a bit too similar to dopey from snow white off the track, aside from his hot temper from a bad race, it was his good personality and highly calculating mind on the track that he was a keeper. he had potential.

and that was what he did, show his potential and growth with each race.

with romance, this does not guarantee our characters are endgame. rather, the plot has romantic elements to it like former lovers, current attractions, etc.

however, fate has a funny way of working. just as he ready to resign with toro rosso, going through another cycle of playing chicken with red bull, another offer came in.

ferrari. the dream of a lifetime of every driver on the grid. never did he think he would be driving for the prancing horse. had it not been for his agent, he would signed out reading the contract.

aside from the time north korea kidnapped him for a week, his seasons have not always been the easiest. everything nearly came to a crashing halt two years ago and he almost lost it all.

if only it was easy for her to just be elijah's pseudo older sister, the one that played with him during boring society parties. instead, she was his first love, but to her he was like her goofy little brother. they stayed close throughout the years, becoming friends and providing comfort to one another during their darkest times. while he could never be something more to her than a close friend, he was happy to just have her around.

muse a was elijah's good friend from elementary school. while he could not figure out what (2/3)+(1/5) equalled to, they made sure that he had least some help on his homework. on the other hand, elijah ensured that no one picked on muse a when he was around. some would had seen their friendship as a transactional one, it was more than that for elijah. muse a was one of the few people that did not see him as some oaf or someone with connections, he was just a friend to them.

government ran thick in the moon blood, the family could trace its origins to being royal advisors and officials in the joseon courts. that would continue even after the end of japanese colonization, many of the moon men branching out into different positions of government. jaeseok’s father would become the head of the korea central intelligence agency and an uncle was the mayor of busan. it was only natural for jaeseok to enter government and politics, starting his career out as a prosecutor in the seoul central office and eventually the prosecutor general of south korea. it was this successful progression that made him an ideal politician, given an offer he could not refuse, that of complete fame, fortune, and power. it was a near slam dunk when running for mayor of seoul, the public loving jaeseok's dedicated family man image and devotion to his country. he seemed to be a neutral force wanting the best for korea's citizens, but what people did not realize that he was the same as every other politician, taking bribes and deals on the side, but was much better at covering his tracks. however, he seemed to do a great job in the public’s eyes, running for president after his second term as seoul’s mayor. while the fight was not as easy compared to his last campaigns, he won. after a chaotic term, he finally retired from politics. now he enjoys his new cushy position at a bank

his mother is a prominent figure in the legal world, renowned as the owner of one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the nation, yoon law firm. she holds the title of one of the nation's premier trial attorneys. she is known for taking up cases deemed to be career enders, such as the murder case of lee jaesung, who murdered his wife in front of multiple witnesses, yet she managed to gain his acquittal through reason of insanity. for many years, she has lectured at law schools and conducted seminars at various legal organizations.

elijah is a sucker for street scammers, often times getting sucked in to buy some useless dead sea salt scrubs for $75 when it's only worth $5. it is partially why his father requests for at least one presidential security service agent to stay with him at all times. however, it was on a warm day back in seoul that elijah wanted to go out and his agent was down with the flu. not wanting to waste a good day, he went out alone.

however, once again approached by an oddly lurch looking figure, elijah was convinced to take a free personality test. it was free and they had snacks, chocolate milk specifically! however, muse a tries their best to get elijah away from lurch. after all lurch works for scientology and only wants to suck out all of his money. who will win the tug of war arm battle for elijah? muse a or scientology?

let's find out what happened to elijah on a saturday night! one sunday morning in a remote town, elijah and muse a wake up at the beach. between them they only have a bad hangover, $2, and one phone with 1% battery while most of the town's people have gone to church, leaving them nearly stranded. there is no bus or train nearby. no one recognize elijah and won't drive them back to seoul because it's a long drive and they could be potential serial killers. now elijah and muse a have to figure out where they are and how to get back home.
