1.İn my classroom, i both would prefer utilising listening materials and activities and Authentic listening materials and tasks. We have different students' interests, learning styles and likes. The coursebooks provided by ministry of education have limited listening materials and activities in each class. When considered into different students' interests, Learning styles and likes, these materials and activities doesnt meet sts' all needs. İn this situation, Authentic listening materials and task compensate for this gap. So i would prefer both because if they come together, all kinds of students utilise Best of these activities.

2. I have stronger and weaker students in my classroom as everbody has. I sometimes have difficulty in adressing to stronger and weaker students at the time. To me, the ideas related to improving more active listening skills in today's sessions would be suitable and
Useful in my classroom, Because they both meet stronger and weaker students at the same time.

I can talk about my ideas with these three adjectives “ reliable, enforcable, evaluable” about flipped classroom.Because these are all important to apply flipped class.

Today I learnt how to deal with these important points. To make it reliable I can prepare checklist including questions “how they study, what were the difficulties they faced, what was easy for them, how they struggled with the blocking information…”
I can prepare activities according to their level. It means; I can prepare differentiation activities. If a student has lack of knowledge he can work with others as a peer or group work activity. By this way can learn missing points from other students; it is not waste of time it is for students’ benefit. Then they can take part in activities according to their level.Easy and supported task for lowers and comprehension activities for strongers. If there is a role play supported role for lowers.By this way it will increase their confidence.

2. I think my colleagues will respond in a positive way.Because students will read the text at home and there will be much more time in class to do activities. The only thing they will focus on will be preparing activities according to students level.Students will be happy because they will have high confidence teacher will be happy because they will all students are motivated, hence their learning enviroment will be better. From this point of view my colleguages will like it.

Class 3 Day 3

1 To me, the most common problem in my district related to teaching speaking is that most of the students have low confidence for speaking English and as a result of this situation, they are afraid of Making mistakes. Because they don't mostly dare to speak thinking that they will make a mistake again as a result of low confidence, we, as a teacher in our district, have a serious problem concerning teaching speaking

2. I strongly believe that the ideas and suggestions I have learnt today's speaking sessions will be a strong support for me to tackle the common problem in my district. We have watched videos named ' building confidence in speaking ' and ' Feedback for Speaking '. Thanks to valuable ideas and suggestions this video offered us like ' Do not interrupt the students when they make a mistake. Take notes and talk about them kindly after speaking has finished. Or you can make the students check each others' mistakes. For confidence, you can give more time for those who have low confidence in speaking English. By doing this, the students will gradually build more confidence in speaking English.

1.I have useful thoughts related to using online writing tools.
*There are many choices(blogs,e-mails,social media groups, padlets etc.); so students don’t have to rely on only one; this enables writing being fun for them.
*They are useful and can be backed up with visuals.
*Students can work with peers and groups collaboratively.
*We can give students automated feedback and this makes evaluation easier.
Today the most important idea for me is “ blance in writing both at home and in classroom”. At school the time is limited but writing is not a short process.At school students can;
*discuss the topics with friends,
*do brainstorming
*plan the writing process.
Without pressure at home and feeling relaxed, they can write better. Planning at school and writing at home in other words blance in writing at school and home is the most significant title for me today.

2. I believe my colleagues would value Feedback most in exploring in a PDC meeting focusing in writing., Because Feedback is an effective way to correct mistakes. In correcting mistakes, writing symbols and ask them check it out is great because we do not directly focus on the mistakes. We just ask students explore and correct them. We can make students snack activities which they can write something freely. We can also utilise some applications such as storybird, pixten and mystory for an enjoyable teaching

I think the most effective vocabulary teaching suggestion i today's sessions for language classrooms in my area is to use the website named ' www.wordwall.com'. This website is not free but costs little money per year. They can easily create a picture - word activity by using the words which they will teach. They also can make a quiz show similar to ' who wants to be a millioner' in a very short time.
2. I am a teacher of English at a secondary school in a town and the elecricity sometimes go off, so ı have to conduct a lesson without technological devices. I think, at this point I can utilise vocabulary notebooks in my classroom to maintain the lesson in a non technological way. In a situation like this, I would ask my students to include ' part of speech/grammar, register, collocation and word family' section on their notebooks to make the study more meaningful. Besides, I can utilise this study when the elecricity do not go off, Because Including ' part of speech/grammar, register, collocation and word family' section on their notebooks would be really an effective way to teach vocabulary to students and If I make use of this study more, students build more vocabulary.

1.
I think the biggest advantage of being in PDC for teachers of English in my local area is to enable teachers share their experience and develop their teaching with the experience that they have taken from each other. They work collaboratively with each other and cosequently they will contribute much more to their students ' improvement in English. Teachers can design or create new things which i fun, enjoyable, simple, specific and flexible to teach in these PDC meetings
They can also adapt these activities for no- tech and tech
They can differentiate these activities for weakers and strongers.
2.
My aim in PDC meetings is to contribute to my colleagues' improvements in teaching English. Their motivation and encouragement in applying teaching methods in their class is another important issue for me. Correcting mistakes, time bound, feedback, reflection, differentiation, digitalization and assessment are a few of these techniques . Their participating in PDC meetings efficiently can give thrm a chance to use the class time correctly.
3
Today we have experienced an effective word named SMART) which we need to incorporate while planning PDC. SMART is a acronym and it stands for specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound. We should certainly take into consideration Outcomes, topic , warming up, time, reviewing , sharing and engaging and closing marks in planning. As a facilitator I can do my best the best if I can be good at SMART.
