Did you know you are learning ALL the time? We learn a lot of different things about life when we travel, when we meet new people, when we listen to others or when we simply look around. Here are some cool things that our third grade class learned over the summer!

I was at home and my dog was barking at me. I told her to stop but she didn’t . I learned to be consistent when you give directions to dog.

This summer I learned that river water isn’t blue. It is brown. I was in Fort Dodge. It is brown because all the mud and sand comes into the river and makes the river brown.

This summer I learned to not jump down stairs! This summer I was going to spend the night at my friend’s house. While I was spending the night but I broke my foot. I was going down the stairs and I jumped off like 8 stairs and landed wrong on my foot.

I thought that diving boards were scary but when I tried it, it was really fun. It was so much fun! I went to Charles City to the waterpark. I with went my family I went with my mom my little sister my big sister my dad and big brother I learned to try new things

I went to the Omaha zoo. I learned that if you sit on a hissing cockroach it will hiss at you. I learned this from Wild Kratt’s.

Ducks are fluffy and cute. Ducks give birth to four or five eggs each year. The eggs hatch in one to two months. The baby birds grow up and leave the nest to have there own baby birds. I learned this in a book.

I learned that are lots of turtles in Hawaii. They are sobig. We went snorkeling and saw lots of turtles. I went with my mom and brother. It was fun and COOL!

I learned that baby and adult dolphins like to play by bumping seagulls in the air from the water. The guy at the dolphin ride said it and my parents were there with me. It was super fun at the dolphin ride in turkiey.

I learned that swimming in the deep end is the most fun thing to do ever. In the shallow end you can’t dive. It’s not safe. But in the deep end you can do mostly everything. My mom came with me to the pool.
