When people help animals they are not hurt and feel better and more living things are happier.

I wrote this poem because I think people should clean up after themselves, and if they want to be kind, then they could even help clean up after other people, like at school. People should also clean places with pollution, like the ocean. The first two stanzas of my poem are about dirty things, and the second two are about cleaning up. You might notice that one line of each stanza is funnier than the others, like the lines about poopy diapers and birthday suits (which means naked)!

The first section is in C Major, which represents the mother. The second section, it switches to C minor, which is the father. The final section is in C Major one octave higher and represents the two birds’ baby. The last run at the end is all birds flying away together.

My daddy got some flowers. They were roses and lilies, but the roses were all big and colorful, and the lilies hadn't bloomed yet, which made me feel sad. But you know what? The roses wilted really fast, and those lilies, they took their sweet time to bloom. That's when I realized that I like flowers that haven't bloomed yet too. I ended up loving both the big, colorful flowers and the ones that were still waiting to bloom. Flowers that haven't bloomed yet just feel so full of hope!

As a storm approached the Redondo Beach Strand, I stopped to capture this moment of Mother Earth’s beauty. As darkness approached, I see brightness, a heart shaped opening in the sky and a strong seagull flying boldly to weather the storm.

I am hopeful because I see compassion and strength in this world even when a storm is approaching.

Compassion has no boundaries and can unify humanity in times of conflict. We should always remember that a beautiful heart can make a difference by bringing brightness and clarity into this world.

I went to the South Coast Botanic Garden. There, I saw many pretty flowers with bees and butterflies. It was amazing! I wondered about the food we get from these flowers. But you know what? It all starts with the bees and butterflies. They collect honey and nectar from the flowers and spread them worldwide! Thanks to them, we can make lots of honey and food. This helps us now and for the future. When I see butterflies and bees on a flower, it makes me feel hopeful!
