The reason for different countries having different birth rates, dependency load and life expectancy is the economic conditions in that country, and if that country is in poverty then it is worse. Zambia has a high rate of poverty and this makes it so anyone after the age of 70 is almost guaranteed to die due to the lack of hospitals. On the other hand Canada has almost no poverty and has a good economic structure, Canada has hospitals fully equipped with medical equipment this is the reason people have longer life expectancy in Canada, also Japan also has the same thing.

Some people may ask why Zambia has such a high birth rate and Canada has less, I mean Zambia is the one in poverty right? Not exactly Zambia because of the poverty also has a lack of education for women and this causes them to have early marriage without much knowledge and this points out why Zambia has more babies/higher birth rate than Canada.

Now you may be asking why Japan has so many old people? This is because Japan has a very strong economy and cause of it they have many hospitals, otherwise in Zambia which is currently in poverty has very vivid access to hospitals and this causes anyone after the age of 75 almost guaranteed death.

This info can be used to predict future patterns in population growth and also can be used to find if a population is aging or a youthful population.

This info can also be used to find if women have longer lifespan than men because on a population graph it shows both genders.

We can also use this information to make predictions that this population will turn into a aging population cause of the advancements in the economy and such.
