One benefit that the sponsor may have received from the organiser may be that the organiser may have given the sponsor, his word, that if he or she were to sponsor this event, they would contract them again for the next event, for sponsorship. Which this would be a benefit for the sponsor, as it is an opportunity for brand exposure.

 

Another benefit that the sponsor may have received from the organiser is that the organiser may give free access or entry to a certain number of the sponsor’s staff. Which this would be a benefit for the sponsor, as the sponsor would have a chance to build a business relationship with the suppliers and buyers at the event. Thus, creating potential business opportunities for the sponsor.

- Another benefit that the sponsor received from the organiser is gaining repeated exposure with your branding on the popular official show notepad. As the branding of the sponsor company on the front and the back cover of official show notepads that can include your own design. All 1,500 attendees receive a notepad.

BBM did this as it  is the leading food and beverage supplier in Maldives and would like to gain exposure into the Hong Kong market in hope that it would be able to connect with other food and beverage suppliers in Hong Kong. The organiser of the event received incredible benefits as it does not have to spend money on financing the Culinary challenge which took place at the HOFEX 2017.

- As the pens will be given out to many visitors as a souvenir, visitors may discuss about the sponsor's name on the pen and how the sponsor and organiser may be related.

- The sponsor can be seen clearly when using the pen, this helps the sponsor's reputation especially when the exhibition is a large one, the reason why the exhibition is willing to take in the sponsor is because the sponsor is reliable.

- As the sponsor's brand name will be printed on the lanyards that will be worn by visitors, it will help to increase brand exposure for the sponsor where the visitors will act as walking advertisements.
- The sponsor's brand name will be mentioned on IFFS's official website for being one of the sponsors and this will help to promote the brand and improve its reputation in the industry.

- As every delegate entering the exhibition will need a delegate lanyard with their name. this helps to promote the brand. As behind every lanyard, it is stated that the lanyard is proudly sponsored by Travellanda. There are at least thousands of lanyard issued to delegates. Delegates that received the lanyard will notice Travellanda brand. This helps to make their brand known to other companies and visitors as well. 
- Another benefit will be media exposure. As the organizer will need to market the event as well via different channel. Such as main website or newspaper. Sponsors names are often included in the advertisement as well. Hence, Travellanda will gain media exposure due to the marketing by the organiser.

- The brand will be more recognized as the beer is available for all vistors.
- Also, Singha Corporation who owns Singha beer is moving towards packaging, logistics and property development. They are able to be in a list of future choices of partner companies.
