It is very unlikely that computers and robots would be able to achieve true consciousness. According to the text above, trying to "overcome humans" is "not the path to improve machines". This means that scientists should not be fixated on comparing artificial and human intelligence. Computers and robots are not perfect. Keep in mind that they are programmed to perform specific actions by humans, who are inevitably flawed. Ultimately, there is no true purpose for allowing technology to think and act like us humans do. If they ever gained a true conscious, it would only result in chaos.

Even though they are getting extremely advanced, It would be very hard to portray the feelings of an actual human. 
Everyone feels emotions differently, so you can only do so much to code something to feel that exact way. Robots will one day be able to drive cars, make meals, and do stuff that any person can do now, but they will be missing the emotion that comes with that. You can only code it so much without having to get another drive to store the information.
