In this module, we learnt different teaching styles and assessment evaluations. At the beginning of the module, Mr. Stam asked us to read about some teaching styles. For our group, we have read about the snowball method and collaborative learning method. The Snowball Technique is a way for students to teach each other important concepts and information. Students start by working alone. Next, they collaborate with a partner. Partners form groups of four. Groups of four join to form groups of eight. This snowballing effect continues until the entire class is working together as one large group. Snowballing is a group problem-solving strategy. It works by having students work through a series of problems, each one more complex/difficult than the last. This technique works best for complex problems with multiple subproblems that must be solved sequentially in order to solve the larger problem. Students benefit from working with each other and learn how to approach difficult problems by breaking them down into manageable parts by beginning with very small groups, or even individuals, and then amalgamating groups as the sub-problems become more complex. Another teaching method was Collaborative learning method. A collaborative (or cooperative) learning approach involves pupils working together on activities or learning tasks in a group small enough to ensure that everyone participates. Pupils in the group may work on separate tasks contributing to a common overall outcome or work together on a shared task. This is distinct from unstructured group work. Some collaborative learning approaches put pairs, groups, or teams of mixed attainment to work in competition with each other in order to drive more effective collaboration. There is a very wide range of approaches to collaborative and cooperative learning involving many kinds of organization and tasks. After reading about these teaching methods, we have prepared a Poster and presented it in class. We could realize that Mr. Stam is interested in our presentation. On the same day, there were some other teaching styles that the other groups have presented such as the following styles:

-        Fishbowl Learning Method
-        Problem Based Learning Method
-        Guest Teacher Presentation Method.

Each group presented their topic and they have explained different teachings styles with proving examples in the class. The examples were very useful and we could immediately understand it through practicing it.

Dr. Miran has explained how to use rubric in the class. In this class, Dr. Aram (the minister of higher education and scientific research) participated with us, it was a great experience. In the rubric, we have different criteria such as originality, language, grammar mistakes, delivery, etc. In the class, we had an activity designing rubric for a specific topic. In our group, I have suggested to my group members to design rubric for article review as an assignment since I have applied this assignment to my students. We have written different criteria such as the following:

-        Structure (Organization)
-        Delivery
-        Originality
-        Format

And we have given different grades based on some points. The grades were excellent, very good, good, acceptable, and poor.

In our group, I suggested my group members to write about the current issues in promoting scientific title, and they agreed. First of all, I have read some research articles basically regarding promoting scientific title globally. I have cited the references in our report, then we gathered and discussed it. We exchanged our ideas regarding this issue and provided suitable solutions for it. Later, I discussed with Dr. Miran and Mr. Stam regarding our idea for PBL, they were both interested in our topic and asked us to proceed. I have been selected as a panelist in our group in order to present our topic. I presented it in the first panel within 10 minutes. After presenting it, I have seen that most people interested and interacted with our topics. I have received too many questions by Dr. Aram (Minister), Dr. Kosar (the president of Sulaimany University), and Dr. Amanj (Advisor in Ministry of Higher education). Since I have read deeply about our topic, fortunately I could answer all questions logically with a proper answer. They are all satisfied with my justifications for their concerns.
