  • Questions - ask your class a question on a Padlet wall - have students post answers around the question
  • Listening diary - capture listening responses and reflection 
  • Photo scavenger hunt - ask students to find and post photos of a specific item/type (objects that produce a high sound; instruments from the string family; pics of them demonstrating body perc sounds)
  • Make a positive notes board - students post positive comments about a performance or assignment
  • Exit tickets - students post about what they learnt in class today
  • Document a field trip - students gather photos, write text and add links about the field trip
  • Write a concert review - include notes about the repertoire, the performers, what you thought of the performance, the venue
  • Sorting activity - upload pictures and have students sort them (sort instruments into families, or high/low)
  • Students can make a multimedia poster about their favourite band/artist
  • Musical Me - students can create a Padlet board about their musical influences: favourite artists, styles of music, types of music they listen to
  • Create a digital portfolio - students upload work from a single lesson, a unit of work or from an entire term
