2- Make a character sketch of the main character: why do you think he murders girls by knocking them down with a hammer? What is the matter with him? Do we get any hints in the story.

He is a sociopath, in love , obsessed with Norma, he´s determined to find her even knowing that she is dead, he´s also stuck in a specific time and can´t move on.
He kills the girls with a hammer because he enjoys seeing the girls suffer and die slowly. He also wants to relieve his anger about Norma.
We do get some hints, when he ends up in a dark alleyway and also when he hears the radio talking about a hammer murder and he puts his hand into his coat pocket and touches "something" ( that could be the hammer). On the page 20 " It was always a surprise seeing her for the first time, it was always a sweet shock" (the readers become suspicious)
