It would also allow our patients to schedule or reschedule appointments, request prescription refills, and ask questions.

Ambition: Our goal is to reduce the time our patients spend waiting on the phone or in the office. -Same attention given to questions and concerns.
-Should receive responses as soon as possible so they do not feel ignored.

-Physicians should be able to access prescription request and questions directly.
-Will nursing staff be responsible for filtering questions or issues?
-Will the program automatically assign issues to appropriate place based on patients input? For example appointment questions, prescriptions, emergency related questions, general questions, etc.

Competencies to excel:
-Who will manage information coming in through the app?
-How do we track check off's needed to manage questions, requests?
-How should issues or questions left unresolved be addressed?
-How do we request and manage feedback from patients regarding ease, convenience, and how well staff is meeting their needs?

Performance and Outcome Measurements: 
-How do we measure patient satisfaction?
-Look at check in time/check out times to determine if patients using app are spending less time in office. 
-Are there less numbers of calls coming into the office. 
-How many questions or issues are being left unresolved at the end of each day?
